Entertained

I haven't blogged for a while as it's been a little slower going and, with a weekend in there, we didn't make as much progress. However, now interior walls are going up and it's fun to see rooms take shape. Tomorrow they may start on the upstairs trusses. I will be posting again shortly with pictures of all of that.

Meanwhile we have managed to keep ourselves entertained in our tight little space at the end of VanWagnen's driveway. Bob decided one afternoon to just stretch out and relax in the living room.....

and the bedroom....and the dining room.  It doesn't take much to amuse us.

We have also had several visitors stop by.

Our friends that we grew up with were here visiting from Alaska and Ohio and we ended up sitting around our table in our new garage with the doors open eating pizza and telling lots of stories. We were invited back to our old house to sit on the deck and enjoy the lake, but ended up spending the afternoon in the garage as the stories that went on and on and got funnier and funnier, consumed our time.

We've been able to use our old deck tables for some meetings and lunches just outside of the garage. Perfect atmosphere when there is a break from the pounding.

And finally, in the evening, we actually take some chairs and sit in our future living room enjoying the view. Ahh, home!
